I'm Yas, a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I help you find what's really driving your child's meltdowns and refusal, then give you a plan that works with your child's brain, not against it.

You love your child. Some days you're just trying to get through to bedtime.

You love your child. Some days you're just trying to get through to bedtime.

The morning that falls apart over socks. The homework that ends with a slammed door. The guilt after you yell, and the dread before every transition.

You're not a bad parent. You've been doing this without the one piece of information that changes everything: why it keeps happening.

You're not a bad parent. You've been doing this without the one piece of information that changes everything: why it keeps happening.

You've tried everything. Here's why it hasn't stuck.

✓ Sticker charts and reward systems

✓ Time-outs and taking things away

✓ Being calmer, stricter or "more consistent"

✓ Parenting books, podcasts and Instagram tips

✓ Therapy, OT or ABA, and home still feels hard

Most strategies target the behavior. But behavior is a message. When a strategy doesn't match why your child is melting down, it fails no matter how consistent you are. The why might be a hidden trigger, a skill they don't have yet, or a demand just past their limit.

Finding that why is what I've done every day for more than a decade as a school psychologist and BCBA.

The C.A.L.M. Method™: how we get from chaos to calm

I work with you, the parent. You're with your child every day, so you're the one who makes change last.

C — Clues: We uncover the hidden, layered triggers behind the meltdowns, including the ones you can't see yet.

A — Attune: You learn to stay regulated in the moment, so your calm becomes theirs.

L — Limit: You hold boundaries without the blowup, using responses that de-escalate instead of fuel it.

M — Map: We build skills at your child's level and a plan that carries into adulthood.

I don't just look at the child in front of you. I look at the adult they're becoming and work backward.

HI THERE!

I'm Yas

I'm Yas

For over 10 years, I’ve walked alongside parents who felt like they were drowning. Parents who were exhausted, overwhelmed, and out of answers, yet deeply loved their children and just wanted things to feel better at home.

For over 10 years, I’ve walked alongside parents who felt like they were drowning. Parents who were exhausted, overwhelmed, and out of answers, yet deeply loved their children and just wanted things to feel better at home.

I’ve helped more than 500 families move from daily chaos to calm, connected relationships. We do this by getting to the root of challenging behaviors and creating home environments where both children and parents feel safe, seen, and supported. Families I work with often see a dramatic reduction in yelling and meltdowns, along with real, lasting change that finally feels sustainable.

Most of the parents who come to me have already tried everything. Countless strategies that did not work. Children who were labeled “the problem kid” at school. Parents who were completely burned out and quietly wondering if they were failing. Many felt hopeless and ashamed, even though they were doing the best they could.

What I want you to know is this. Change is possible.

I’m here to show you exactly how these families created calmer homes, rebuilt connection, and found their way back to hope.
